Pagi yang indah dan damai di ceriakan lagi dengan senyuman dari atok dan nenek, aku yang baru bangun dari tidur setelah tadi selesai solat subuh, mungkin matahari sudah mengalah tingginya.
" Mari turun sarapan " Suara nenek pada aku yang duduk mencangkung di muka puntu atas. Pondok buruk atok ada dua tingkat, bahagian atas tempat tidur dan bersolat dan di bahagian bawah adalah tempat makan dan dapur.
Aku perhatikan keadaan sekeliling dan mata ku tajam mencari di manakah atok berada
" Atok mana Nek..? " Suara aku bertanya
"Atok Dah pergi kenbun , dah lekas nanti kita sama-sama kesana lepas sarapan " Jawab nenek sambil menuang air Teh 'O " Di cawan,
Aku menuruni tangga bulat, anak tangga bulat dengan perlahan satu persatu, tangga buatan tangan atok dari kayu hutan , aku tak tahu dari jenis kayu apa atok buat, memang berbeza dengan tangga di rumah aku.
Aku menuju ke pelantar yang berhampirang dengan pondok usang atok , ku basuh muka ku dengan air di dalam tong, tong yang atok sediakan paras pinggang ku. Aku menuju ke dalam semula
